Camden, N.Y. — An investigation into an injured puppy Friday in Oneida County turned chaotic after a deputy was bitten by a dog and officers later had to kill another dog that charged at them, deputies said. The Oneida County 911 Center received a call Friday reporting that a man had injured a puppy. Sheriff’s deputies responded to the home on Route 13 in Camden and found a 3-week-old pit bull puppy with serious head injuries, according to a news release from the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office.
